Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to help your business, we never sell it, and you can ask us to see, correct or delete it at any time.

01Who we are

EngenX ("EngenX", "we", "us") builds industrial AI, digital twin and engineering solutions for manufacturing, steel, automotive, battery and other industrial businesses. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have.

It applies to our website engenx.in, our forms and advertisements (including lead forms on Facebook and Instagram), and to the ways our team talks with you: phone calls, email, meetings and WhatsApp. We handle personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other laws that apply to us.

02Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact and demo requests: your name, work email, phone number, company name and the message you write.
  • Lead forms in our ads: when you fill in a form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta shares the answers with us, such as your name, email, phone number, company, job title, city and your answers to our questions.
  • Conversations with our team: emails, WhatsApp messages, meeting details and notes, and details of phone calls (number, time and length). A call is recorded only if we tell you at the start of the call.
  • Business details: information about your company, plants and equipment that you share so we can understand your needs and prepare proposals.

Information collected automatically

  • Website usage: pages you visit, time spent on a page, the page that sent you to us, device type, browser and an approximate location (country, region and city). We keep only a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for counting visitors.
  • Cookies and similar tools: see Cookies and analytics below.

We do not ask for sensitive information such as health, financial account or government ID details through our website or forms. Please do not send them to us.

03How we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry, arrange a demo and understand what your business needs.
  • To prepare and send proposals, quotations and other business documents.
  • To keep in touch about our products, case studies and events. You can stop these messages at any time (see Your rights and choices).
  • To keep a record of our conversations so any member of our team can help you.
  • To understand how our website and advertisements perform and to improve them.
  • To keep our website and systems secure and to prevent misuse.
  • To meet our legal, tax and accounting duties.

04WhatsApp messages

We use the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta to talk with customers and prospects. We message you on WhatsApp only when you have shared your number with us and asked us to contact you, or when you message us first.

  • We may send you updates about your enquiry, meeting reminders, documents you asked for and, where you have agreed, information about our solutions.
  • Your messages, your WhatsApp name and number are stored in our customer records so our team can reply and follow up.
  • To stop receiving our WhatsApp messages, reply STOP at any time. We will add your number to our do-not-message list.
  • Meta processes WhatsApp messages under its own terms and privacy policy, which you accepted when you started using WhatsApp.

05Who we share information with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, and only as much as they need to do their job:

  • Cloud hosting and database providers that store our website and customer records.
  • Email and calendar services used for our business email and meetings.
  • Telephone and messaging providers that connect our calls and WhatsApp messages.
  • Secure file storage for documents and attachments.
  • Analytics and advertising services (such as Google and Meta) that measure how our website and ads perform.
  • AI services that help our team summarise conversations and draft replies. A person in our team always reviews the result.

We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case the new owner will follow this policy.

06Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files saved in your browser. Our website uses them, and similar browser storage, for these purposes:

  • Essential: to make the website and its forms work, for example to remember that you have already sent the contact form.
  • Analytics: Google Tag Manager and our own visit counter, to learn which pages are useful.
  • Advertising: Google Ads conversion tracking, to know when a visit from one of our ads leads to an enquiry.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website will still work, but some measurements will not. To opt out of Google advertising cookies, visit Google Ad Settings.

07How long we keep information

We keep your information for as long as we have a business relationship with you or your company, and for as long as needed to answer your enquiry. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous, unless the law asks us to keep it longer (for example, invoices and tax records). Website analytics are kept in summary form.

08How we protect information

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), private storage that can be opened only through short-lived secure links, sign-in for every team member, access rules so each person sees only the records they work on, activity logs and regular backups. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will inform you and the authorities of a data breach where the law requires it.

09Where information is stored

Our service providers may store or process information in India or in other countries. Wherever it is stored, we use providers that protect information with security standards at least as strong as those described here, and we follow Indian law on sending personal data abroad.

10Your rights and choices

You can ask us at any time to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
  • correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • delete your information (see the next section);
  • stop sending you marketing emails or WhatsApp messages;
  • withdraw a consent you gave earlier.

Every marketing email from us has a link to stop such emails. On WhatsApp, reply STOP. For anything else, write to contact@engenx.in. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

11How to ask us to delete your data

To delete the information we hold about you, including information received through Facebook or Instagram lead forms and WhatsApp:

  1. Email contact@engenx.in with the subject "Delete my data".
  2. Include your name and the email address or phone number you used with us.
  3. We will confirm the request, delete your information from our systems within 30 days, and let you know when it is done.

We may keep a small record that you asked us not to contact you (so we do not message you again), and information the law requires us to keep.

12Children

Our website and services are meant for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. If a change is important, we will show a notice on our website.
